In early July 2019, the Bavarian manufacturer unveiled the first photos of the all-new BMW X6. Live it will be possible at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September of the same year. Production starts at the end of summer at the manufacturer's American plant. The first copies will appear in Russian dealerships only by November. It is worth noting that the model is a completely new, third generation, and not just another restyling. She received an internal G06 index, technical stuffing from the X5, an upgraded suspension, a wide range of optional equipment and a redesigned exterior. In general, the car has retained its signature features and proportions, however, it has absorbed all the latest fashion trends. The front end received enlarged headlights with larger angular sections of daytime running lights. Signature grille nostrils have also become larger, and also received LED backlighting. The latter is activated when the alarm is active, but can also be activated manually. At the stern, you can see the new curve of the boot lid, brake lights reminiscent of the eighth series and two massive exhaust pipes. BMW X-6 is a premium five-seater crossover with a coupe-shaped roof slope. After the generation change, its overall dimensions are: length 4935 mm, width 2004 mm, height 1695 mm, and wheelbase 2975 mm. The ground clearance, like that of the previous modification, is at a solid level. In the equipped state, between the bottom and the soils, there is about 216 millimeters. It should be noted that with the change of generation, the base of the model has not changed. As before, it is based on the modular CLAR platform, which implies a fully independent suspension architecture. There are two wishbones in the front, and a multi-link system in the back. By default, coil springs and adaptive dampers are installed in a circle. A pneumatic system can be ordered at an additional cost. It is worth noting that on F1, pneumatic elements were installed exclusively on the rear axle and served rather to level the body. The G06, in turn, received a full-fledged system with four elements capable of adjusting the ground clearance in the range of 80 millimeters. Among other things, the car boasts a fully steerable chassis with rear steering wheels and an active anti-roll bar, also located at the rear. At the start of sales, the BMW X6, like its sister X5, will receive four powertrains. In all cases, the transmission will be a classic hydromechanical automatic, transmitting traction to all four wheels through the proprietary xDrive all-wheel drive system. The petrol line is composed of two engines. Basic - inline three-liter turbocharged six with 340 horses and 450 Nm of torque. For an additional fee, you can order a 4.4-liter V8 with two turbochargers for 530 forces and 750 Nm. As a result, depending on the engine, the crossover will pick up the first hundred in 4.3-5.5 seconds, and its maximum speed will be limited to 250 km / h. For fans of heavy fuel units, three-liter sixes with 265 and 400 hp are available, giving out 620-760 Nm. Diesel X6s accelerate to 100 km / h in 5.2-6.5 seconds and are capable of reaching 230-250 km / h. As is typical of the premium segment, the BMW X6 has a wide range of equipment. In addition to the illumination in the radiator grille, the manufacturer can offer more advanced BMW-Laserlight headlights with an automatic adaptive laser high-beam unit. Inside, you can see a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system with premium acoustics, navigation and all-round visibility, an air conditioning control unit with three or four zones of operation, as well as sports seats with ventilation and massage function, as well as individual screens for the entertainment system for back row passengers.
