Peugeot is the largest privately owned company in France for the production of general purpose vehicles, as well as racing cars, engines, bicycles and motorcycles. In the mid-70s of the XX century, the Peugeot management signs an agreement on its merger with Citroen into one concern: Peugeot-Citroen (PSA).
