The Cadillac ATS is a premium four-door compact sedan designed to compete with the likes of the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Since 2012, ATS has been produced at the GM plant located in the capital of Michigan - Lansing. The sedan is built on the GM Alpha platform and is offered in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. In America, this "compact Cadillac" can be purchased with three different gasoline power plants: a 2.5-liter inline-four of the LCV series, a 2-liter in-line four with a turbocharger of the LTG series (both engines are third generation Ecotec) and a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 LFX series. True, in Russia, the ATS is sold only with a 2-liter supercharged Ecotec engine, producing 276 hp. maximum power.
