As for the suspension design, a classic MacPherson strut is installed in front, and a semi-independent beam at the back. In the Russian market, Chery Bonus is offered in 5 trim levels, and already in the base one there is an audio preparation from two speakers, power steering, central locking, front windows, Iso-fix mount and alarm. In addition, even the most affordable Cherie Bonus is equipped with a driver's airbag and air conditioning, and more expensive versions have a stability control system with ABS. This even allowed the car to show itself quite acceptable in crash tests using a method similar to EuroNCAP. However, compared to European, Japanese, Korean and American cars, this is still a very imperfect, technically backward car. But on the Russian market, Bonus looks clearly preferable to the current models of AvtoVAZ. For 400 thousand rubles, the buyer receives a gain in design, equipment, and power. It is better to leave questions of reliability outside the brackets for now. On the one hand, there are still not enough statistics for Chery, on the other hand, the build quality at the Volga car plant has improved recently. It will be possible to judge who will be ahead in this indicator in five years.
