The premiere of the concept model Chrysler 300C took place in 2003 at the International Auto Show in New York. The car received the classic proportions of American cars - a long hood, a short rear end and an expressive profile. Together with the Chrysler 300C concept, the HEMI engines, which had become famous back in the 1950s, returned to the brand. The new HEMI V8 power unit had a displacement of 5.7 liters. In 2003, at the Frankfurt Motor Show, a sedan-based station wagon, the Chrysler 300C Touring Concept, was presented. The technical equipment of the station wagon is similar to the sedan, the differences are only in the body type and the possibility of installing the 4Matic all-wheel drive system from Mercedes. Serial versions of cars were released in 2004. The main external difference from its predecessor - the front-wheel drive car Chrysler 300M - is the massive relief grille. The body has become much longer and higher, but narrower. In Europe, the car is available with three engine options. In the basic version, the car is equipped with a 2.7-liter V6 engine with a capacity of 193 horsepower. On request, the Chrysler 300C can be equipped with 2.5-liter or 5.7-liter power units with a capacity of 253 and 340 horsepower, respectively.
