The debut of the first generation of the Chrysler Sebring model took place in 1995. By March 2000, the manufacturer had released the second generation of cars on the Chrysler JR platform, presenting it at the Geneva Motor Show. The car was named after the famous Sebring race track. The next version of the Chrysler Sebring was released in 2004. There were no radical changes in this car. The Chrysler Sebring is similar to the 1998 300M. The car differs from the previous model in the design of the front end: new headlights, a massive front bumper, a radiator grille. Inside the car, the front panel has undergone changes. The seats have also been updated. Visually, the car has become more solid and heavier, but at the same time it retained the features inherent in the family. The Chrysler Sebring was equipped with a 140 horsepower 2.0-liter engine, a 203 horsepower 2.7-liter engine or a 152 horsepower 2.4-liter unit. The version with a 152-horsepower engine was not supplied to the Russian market. In 2007, the car was again updated. The new Chrysler Sebring model is built on the JS platform. In parallel with the Sebring sedan, a convertible was also produced.
