The Daewoo Matiz model is designed on the Tico platform, the production of which was launched back in 1988. Matiz was designed by ItalDesign. It is noteworthy that the studio planned to give the originally created body to the Fiat company. The compact five-door Daewoo Matiz was promoted only in Western Europe. This is how the Chevrolet Matiz model appeared on the market, known in Russia and in several other countries as the Chevrolet Spark.
