In 2016, the updated Ford Fusion, better known to European motorists as the Mondeo, debuted in its home market. Thanks to this variety, the model becomes quite versatile and is able to satisfy most of the needs of a potential buyer. Under the hood of the base versions is a small 1.5-liter inline turbocharged petrol four. Despite the small volume, the small turbocharger allowed the engineers to squeeze out 184 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The most versatile unit in the lineup can be called a two-liter engine with a similar layout. It produces quite serious 249 horses and 373 Nm of thrust. It is worth noting that such models, for an additional fee, are equipped with an all-wheel drive system. For lovers of more traditional and reliable units, the manufacturer can offer the well-known 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four. Due to its relatively low compression ratio, it generates just 177 hp and 237 Nm. The top unit is a 2.7-liter V-shaped turbocharged six. This unit is equipped exclusively with all-wheel drive and produces an amazing 340 lumen and 515 Nm. Fusion, like its European counterpart, has a lot of strengths. It has a stylish and memorable design that perfectly emphasizes the character of the owner and the rich equipment of the model. It will look organically both in a busy traffic and on a suburban highway. The salon is a realm of excellent finishing materials, verified ergonomics and impeccable comfort. Even a country trip or a dense traffic jam will not be able to deliver unnecessary inconvenience to the driver.
