In 2012, the Ford Tourneo Custom concept appeared on the catwalks of the international spring Geneva Motor Show, and after a while, the production version could be seen at the annual commercial transport exhibition in Birmingham. In the domestic market, under the hood of the Ford Tourneo Custom there is an uncontested in-line turbocharged diesel four with a capacity of 2198 cubic centimeters. It does not boast high peak power, however, it is quite reliable and economical. Thanks to a simple turbocharger and direct fuel delivery system, the engineers managed to squeeze out 125 horsepower at 3700 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1450 crankshaft per minute. All the power is digested by a six-speed manual transmission and transmitted exclusively to the wheels of the front axle. As a result, the minivan is capable of accelerating to 157 kilometers per hour. Fuel consumption will be 8.1 liters of diesel fuel per hundred in the city, 6.1 on the highway and 6.8 in the combined cycle. Torneo Custom boasts excellent functionality.
