Great Wall Hover H6 is a logical development of the successful model with the H5 index. The "sixth" differs from the "five" in slightly larger dimensions, a little more strict (but no less modern) design and an expanded list of additional equipment. The main difference between the new Hover H6 and other models in this series is that instead of the frame structure inherent in classic SUVs, the H6 is equipped with a monocoque body with a transversely mounted power unit, as well as independent wheel suspensions on both axles. The abandonment of the frame and the transition to independent suspensions made it possible to significantly improve the level of ride comfort, as well as to make the handling of the crossover more understandable and safer. The dimensions of the wheelbase (2680 mm) and external dimensions (4640x1825x1690 mm) bring the Hover H6 closer to the leaders in its price segment in terms of spaciousness and interior space. A ground clearance of 185 millimeters, short overhangs and a plug-in all-wheel drive guarantee successful overcoming of light and medium off-road conditions. The car is equipped with three different power plants: two gasoline engines of 2.4 and 1.5 liters (turbocharged) and a two-liter turbodiesel. Initially, only manual transmissions will be available, with automatic versions arriving at the end of the year. In this case, the drive can be either front or full drive. Crossover Great Wall Hover H6 will be on sale in Russia in July 2013.
