In the Russian market, a new model from Honda, combining the capabilities of a sedan and a crossover, appeared in March 2011 under the name Honda Crosstour. In 2013, an updated version of the Honda Crosstour appeared, in which the developers tried to remove the shortcomings of its predecessor and take into account the wishes of customers. In particular, a modification with front-wheel drive and a 194-horsepower 2.4-liter engine was developed, which turned out to be 200 thousand cheaper. Externally, the new Honda Crosstour was distinguished by a radiator grill, modified bumpers, the shape of the side skirts, as well as the design of alloy wheels. In her cabin, you could find a redesigned center console, aluminum inserts and new headrests, since the old ones severely limited the driver's view. The list of minimum equipment installed on the Honda Crosstour includes leather trim, climate control with two zones, an electric sunroof, two touchscreen displays, a camera mounted above the rear bumper, xenon headlights, a radio with six speakers, a subwoofer and a CD changer. For safety, the Honda Crosstour was equipped with eight airbags, anti-lock brakes with brake force distribution and dynamic stabilization. Monitoring of blind spots was offered for an additional fee. The top versions were equipped with a 3.5-liter 281-horsepower i-VTEC engine, in which some of the cylinders are switched off at idle speed and when operating with low load, as well as a six-speed "automatic". Advanced equipment of the Honda Crosstour included navigation with traffic monitoring, a multimedia entertainment system capable of playing videos, keyless entry to the cabin, engine start with a button and paddle shifters.
