Choose appropriate trim of Hyundai Sonata Iv (ef):
On the catwalks of the International New York Auto Salon, in April 2019, a new, already eighth, generation of Hyundai Sonata was presented. The novelty has noticeably changed, received a new platform, a more spacious and comfortable interior, an expanded list of equipment, as well as a completely new design. The car has changed dramatically with a more aggressive and streamlined exterior. At the front, there is a wide hexagonal radiator grille covered with intersecting horizontal and vertical fins. On the sides of it are unusual headlights. They have a slightly elongated shape and thin sections of LED navigation lights that go far back and merge with the trim at the junction of the hood and fender. Elongated air intakes and low-positioned direction indicators can be seen on the front bumper. As for the rear, it received a stylish flat roof slope, an upturned edge of the boot lid and unusual connected brake lights. Hyundai Sonata is a four-door midsize sedan. Following the general trend, with a change of body, the car has grown in size. From now on, it measures 4900 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, 1455 mm in height and 2840 mm between the axles. Compared to its predecessor, the car has added 45 mm to the overall length and 35 mm to the wheelbase, which has a positive effect on the comfort of the rear row. The ground clearance is slightly below average - 145 mm. At the heart of the eighth generation Sonata is a completely new platform. It contains more high-strength alloys, increasing torsional stiffness, and reducing noise and vibration felt in the cabin. The suspension layout itself remains the same. On the front axle, McPherson struts are attached to the subframe by means of rigid levers, and at the rear there is a complex multi-link design. At the start of sales, the Hyundai Sonata will be equipped with two powertrains. Basic is a classic two-liter inline atmospheric four. It features a more advanced cylinder head with a CVVD variable valve timing system and a combined fuel supply system. The injectors are located both in the intake manifold and directly in the block head. Such an engine develops 160 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque. Only a six-speed automatic transmission of variable transmissions works with it. On the basis of this power unit, a version is produced that is configured for operation on liquefied natural gas. Its output is slightly reduced - 146 hp and 191 Nm. Older versions will get a more progressive 1.6-liter turbocharged four. It generates 180 horses and 265 Nm of thrust, and is also docked with a seven-speed preselective robot. The Hyundai Sonata has a fairly wide range of equipment, even when compared to the competition. Older trim levels will boast perforated Nappa leather trim, electrically adjustable seats, memory, heating and ventilation, nine airbags, a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and adaptive cruise control which also works as a collision avoidance system.
