For the 2018 model year, the Jaguar F-Pace has received major changes, pulling for a full restyling. Three years after the official debut, the manufacturer decided to make some adjustments. First of all, I would like to note an excellent line of engines, unified with the rest of the brand's models, additional security systems, a redesigned interior, several additional trim options, as well as an expanded list of options with many innovative gadgets and an advanced multimedia system. Outwardly, it is not possible to distinguish the new product from its predecessor. They are completely identical, which is not surprising, because in 2017 the model won the "Best Automotive Design of the Year" award. Indeed, he very successfully combines quite contradictory things. Despite the rather massive size, it is made in the current, at the moment, corporate style, and echoes the rest of the company's models. From now on, it will be painted in several additional colors and will optionally receive 22-inch alloy wheels with a unique design. Jaguar Ef-Pace is a mid-size, five-seat premium crossover. Its dimensions are: length 4731 mm, width 1936 mm, height 1652 mm, and the wheelbase is 2874 mm. The clearance of the model is quite impressive - 213 millimeters. Thanks to such a landing, it can overcome a ford up to 525 millimeters deep, drive over rather steep obstacles (up to 26 degrees), and thanks to an advanced chassis, it will perfectly show itself both on the highway and on rough terrain. As for the suspension, it is completely independent - in front there are two wishbones, and in the rear there is a multi-link with the Integra Link system. It comes with simple dampers and steel springs by default, and Adaptive Dynamics electronically controlled dampers are available at an additional cost. The crossover boasts a fairly roomy trunk. With the backs of the second row of seats raised, up to 508 liters of usable volume remain in the back. Thanks to this space, the model can easily cope with the everyday tasks of an ordinary car enthusiast, and will also be able to embark on a long trip at any time with an abundance of luggage and several passengers on board. For the transportation of bulky goods, the backrests can be folded in a ratio of 40:20:40 and free up to 1598 liters. In the domestic market, the crossover will receive six different engines, automatic transmissions and an all-wheel drive system. Thanks to a wide range of units presented and an advanced transmission, the model becomes quite versatile and is able to meet the needs of a wide target audience. The petrol Jaguar F-Pace is equipped with two different turbocharged units. This is an in-line two-liter four and a three-liter V6. The first motor develops 250 horses, and the second, depending on the firmware, from 340 to 380. Basic versions accelerate to hundreds in 6.8 seconds, and the older ones in 5.8 and 5.5, respectively. It is worth noting that despite the impressive power and excellent dynamics, these engines have a fairly democratic fuel consumption - 7.4 liters per hundred at a mixed pace for the four and about 8.9 liters for the V6. For fans of heavy fuel units, the manufacturer also offers two engines: in-line two-liter fours for 180 and 240 horses or a three-liter V6 for 300 hp. They are not much inferior to their gasoline counterparts in acceleration up to 100 kilometers per hour. The younger configurations do this in 8.7 and 7.2 seconds, and the top-end in 6.2 seconds. In addition to high torque, diesel engines have always been renowned for their fuel economy. On average, fuel consumption will be about 5.3 liters of diesel fuel for fours and 6 liters for six in the same operating modes. F-Pace is the first and rather successful off-road model of the British brand. It has an amazing and memorable design that will perfectly emphasize the individuality and status of its owner in society. Such a car will not dissolve in the gray everyday stream and will look organically on primers far from civilization. The salon is the realm of exclusive finishing materials, sporty ergonomics, luxury and impeccable comfort. Even a country trip or heavy traffic during rush hour will not be able to deliver the slightest inconvenience to the driver.
