For transporting long loads, the rear sofa can be donated and free up to 1492 liters of usable space. European versions of the KIA Sportage will receive a compact 1.6-liter turbodiesel from the latest U3 family and the innovative EcoDynamics + hybrid system. Its key feature is the starter-generator, which is connected to the crankshaft via a belt drive and is powered by a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. Unfortunately, both of these powertrains will not make it to the domestic market. The power palette will most likely not change. The well-proven straight-line atmospheric gasoline two-liter four will remain the base engine. It develops 150 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque. Both mechanical and automatic variable transmissions are available for this motor. Front or full drive with an axle clutch. For those who like it hotter, the manufacturer offers a 1.6-liter turbo four with 177 horses and 265 Nm. It fits exclusively with a machine gun and four-wheel drive. The top versions will be equipped with a two-liter turbodiesel. It produces 185 hp and a whopping 400 Nm of torque. The transmission is also exclusively automatic all-wheel drive. KIA Sportage is a bright representative of one of the most popular segments in our market. It has a rather unusual and memorable design that perfectly emphasizes the character and personality of its owner. Such a car will look organically both in a busy city stream and on dirt roads far from civilization.
