The second generation Land Rover Freelander debuted back in 2006 and was produced unchanged until 2010, when it underwent the first restyling, and already in 2012 the manufacturer decided to update the model again. The radiator grille consists of two silver horizontally oriented perforated fins and sports a small manufacturer's logo. Also worth noting are the more prominent front fenders, LED brake lights and redesigned light-alloy wheels. Land Rover Freelander is a premium compact crossover. Its overall dimensions are: length 4500 mm, width 2005 mm, height 1740 mm, and wheelbase 2660 mm. The ground clearance is quite solid and is 220 millimeters. The suspension itself has a completely independent layout. Coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers and stabilizers are installed in a circle. The Freelander's trunk boasts quite solid roominess. The Land Rover Freelander is equipped with three different powertrains, six-speed automatic transmissions and a proprietary all-wheel drive system with Terrain Response technology. Fuel consumption will be 13.5 liters of gasoline in the city, 7.5 on the highway and 9.6 in the combined cycle. Diesel units are represented by 2.2-liter turbocharged fours. Depending on the version, they produce 150-190 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. With a heavy fuel engine, the crossover reaches 100 km / h in 9.5-11.2 seconds and is capable of reaching a maximum of 181-190 km / h. For every hundred kilometers, the model consumes 8.7 liters of diesel fuel in the city, 5.7-5.8 on a suburban highway and about seven liters in the combined cycle. Since the Land Rover Freelander belongs to the premium segment, it has a rich technical filling. The car is equipped with six airbags, ABS and stability control system, climate control, tire pressure sensors, cruise control, front and rear parking assistants, keyless entry system, leather trim, multifunction steering wheel, light and rain sensors, and a camera rear view.
