The Lifan Solano engine is an inline petrol atmospheric four with a volume of 1498 cubic centimeters. The engine has two camshafts, and the timing mechanism itself is driven by a belt. The manufacturer assures that if the belt breaks, the valve will not bend due to the grooves on the pistons. The motor is deprived of hydraulic compensators, so that the adjustment of the thermal gap falls on the shoulders of the owner. The cylinder diameter is 81 mm, the piston stroke is 77 mm. Looking at these numbers, we can conclude that the engine has a short piston stroke. Such power units develop high peak power, but unfortunately they do not differ much at low crankshaft speeds. Such a motor needs to be spinned well, since it will behave sluggishly with a calm driving style. The Lifan Solano engine develops 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The maximum speed is 180 kilometers per hour. The manufacturer's declared consumption on the highway is 6.5 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers. But this is a calculated value and most likely it will be larger. Lifan Solano, like most cars from China, provides a fairly rich set of equipment at a reasonable price. So, the car is equipped with: anti-lock system, two front airbags, standard parking sensors, air conditioning, multifunction on-board computer, standard audio system, power steering, remote control for central locking, heated mirrors, full power accessories, driver's seat lift, steering column adjustment, alloy wheels and even a leather interior. Lifan Solano keeps up with the times, despite its origins, it has a nice design that does not give off Asian roots. The interior is pretty neat and comfortable, it doesn't feel cheap or inferior. Even a long trip will not give you any discomfort.
