The Lotus Exige is a two-door, two-door sports car produced by the British manufacturer Lotus Cars. The car is based on the platform of the mid-engined Lotus Elise roadster, produced since 1996. The Exige model was launched into mass production in 2000. The first versions of the car were equipped with a 1.8-liter Rover K-series VHPD engine. The power of this power unit was 179 horsepower.
