The updated Mini Paceman was shown to the general public at the International Spring Beijing Auto Show in 2016. In fact, the model is the first and not very deep restyling of the first generation. The car has expanded the list of options, received several additional paint options, new wheel design and a revised front end. It will not be difficult to distinguish the new product from its predecessor; large rounded headlights with lensed optics and stylish edging are striking. The radiator grille consists of many elongated hexagonal cells and sports a nameplate with the version name. Below, on the front bumper, there is a small air intake covered with a plastic grille, and on the sides of it you can see a couple of special recesses with small round fog lamps. The off-road character of the novelty is emphasized by special linings on the wheel arches, bumpers and sills. They are made of black unpainted plastic and are designed to protect the paintwork in the most vulnerable places. Mini Paceman is a three-door, four-seater B class car, positioned as an urban SUV. Its overall dimensions are: length 4109 mm, width 1786 mm, height 1518 mm, and wheelbase 2596 mm. The Mini Paceman's ground clearance is only 135 millimeters. Such ground clearance is typical of city cars designed for trips on asphalt streets and city highways. The trunk of the Mini Paceman is of the average size for this class of car. With the backs of the second row of seats up, there is about 330 liters of free space in the back. This volume is quite enough for the everyday tasks of a city dweller, but for a long trip with an abundance of luggage, the owner will have to sacrifice seats in the cabin. Folding the backrests in the rear row of seats provides up to 1,080 liters of storage space. Mini Paceman is equipped with a wide "power" line, however, at the moment, in the domestic market, there is only one power unit, equipped with mechanical or automatic variable transmissions, as well as exclusively front-wheel drive. Despite the modest list of units provided, they are quite versatile and capable of satisfying most of the needs of an urban motorist. The engine of the Mini Paysman is a naturally aspirated petrol four with a volume of 1598 cubic centimeters. Thanks to two camshafts and a direct fuel supply system, the engineers managed to squeeze out 122 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 160 Nm of torque at 4250 rpm. With a manual transmission, the car will accelerate to the first hundred in 10.4 seconds, and the maximum speed, in turn, will be 192 kilometers per hour. Despite the good dynamics and good power, the power unit is surprisingly economical, the Mini Paceman's fuel consumption will be 7.4 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers at a city pace of movement with frequent acceleration and braking, 5.2 liters during a quiet trip on a suburban road and 6 liters of fuel per hundred in the combined driving cycle. Mini Paceman is a stylish and memorable car. It has a pleasant neoclassical design that perfectly emphasizes the individuality and status of its owner in society. Such a car will not dissolve in the gray everyday stream and will not get lost in the large parking lot of the shopping center. The salon is a realm of exclusive finishing materials, verified ergonomics, practicality and uncompromising comfort. Even heavy traffic or kilometer-long congestion will not be able to deliver even the slightest inconvenience. The manufacturer is well aware that cars of this class, first of all, should give driving pleasure. That is why, the car is equipped with an excellent line of power units, which are a fusion of innovative technologies and many years of experience in the field of engine building.
