The all-new Opel Cascada is unveiled to an international audience at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The name of the car translates as a waterfall, and its platform was borrowed from the Astra J. It is made of multi-layer fabric, keeps warm well and does not let sounds through. It is available in three different versions and, thanks to powerful electric drives, changes its position in just 17 seconds, even on the move, at speeds up to 50 kilometers per hour. The convertible is equipped with seven different engines, automatic and manual variable transmissions and exclusively front-wheel drive. The petrol line of Opel Cascada engines is represented by in-line turbocharged fours of 1.4 and 1.6 liters. Depending on the version, they develop from 120 to 200 horsepower. Acceleration to hundreds will take 9.2-11.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 195-235 kilometers per hour. Fuel consumption will be 6.3-7.2 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers in the combined cycle. Diesel Cascades are equipped with two-liter turbocharged fours. Their output ranges from 165 to 195 horses. Heavy fuel versions gain a hundred in 9.4-10.4 seconds and are maximally capable of developing 212-230 km / h. Fuel consumption will be 4.9-6.2 liters of diesel fuel per hundred in the same driving mode. Opel Cascada has a wide range of equipment. In addition to ordinary things, such as an air conditioner, an advanced multimedia system, parking sensors and navigation, the manufacturer offers several unusual positions for this class. The seat belt is supplied with the help of a servo drive, the lighting equipment has a diode filling, and shooting safety arcs are hidden in the body.
