Choose appropriate trim of Renault Fluence:
Renault Fluence was first presented at the Louis Vuitton Classic English Festival of Classic Cars in the summer of 2004, and went to Paris in the fall in the Mondial de l'Automobile. The concept was created under the guidance of Patrick le Quiman, a former Renault designer. His track record includes cars such as the Renault Twingo, Megane and the Megane II, which he claims was "too bold in design." Serial production of the first generation Renault Fluence began in 2009, and in 2012 a "restyled" version of the sedan was released. The design of the updated Renault Fluence has changed in accordance with the corporate style. The centerpiece of the grille is now a large chrome company logo, while air intakes and LED strips are located under the headlights. Apart from the updated optics, there are no obvious changes in the rear of the car. Otherwise, this is the same "pre-styling" Renault Fluence. The main change in the interior is the Renault R-LINK multimedia system, which is integrated with the Tom Tom navigation system. The system can be controlled both by means of a touchscreen seven-inch display, and by means of voice commands. R-LINK provides Bluetooth, USB and AUX interfaces for interacting with external devices, as well as Internet access and the ability to download applications from its own R-LINK Store. The engine range of new items was replenished with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. Before restyling, Renault Fluence already had a four-cylinder 1.6 paired with a five-speed "mechanics". Its power was 106 hp and the torque was 145 Nm at 4250 rpm. The new engine outperforms it on both counts. Thanks to changes in the design of the intake manifold, the engine power reaches 114 hp, and the variable valve timing system has increased the maximum torque to 155 Nm, which is achieved at lower speeds (4000 rpm). At the same time, the new 1.6 weighs 24 kg less than the old one, due to the aluminum cylinder block. It is equipped with an X-Tronic CVT variator. The range of gasoline engines closes with the top-end 2-liter "four" with a capacity of 137 hp, which is paired with a manual six-speed gearbox or an X-Tronic CVT variator. All three engines comply with the Euro-4 emission standard.
